Understand what is measured, where it comes from and what it cannot tell you.
OFFICIAL_PUBLIC identifies the unauthenticated ALGS statistics source. This release publishes player and team identity, matchesPlayed, kills and assists.
These per-match figures are calculated from official totals, rather than copied source averages. A denominator of zero is unavailable, never zero by assumption.
Authenticated Full Statistics have a separate OFFICIAL_EXTENDED authority. Those fields and dependent ratings are excluded by default. They may appear only under an explicit, unexpired approval for the exact source snapshot and metrics.
CPI v0.2 and profile axes may be evaluated internally. At initial launch CPI is not published and is not an overall skill score.
Collection time is shown beside the data. PROVISIONAL means the snapshot is not certified final. A source FINAL_CANDIDATE remains provisional until a separate final-validation process accepts it.
When an import fails, the previously accepted dataset remains available. Missing values are not estimated.
Kills rankings describe output within the selected competition and scope. Differences between events or stages are not direct measures of skill growth.
Coverage requires confirmed opportunity for a player's team stint. Unknown opportunity remains provisional; team shares require complete validated rosters and scope.
